Middle School Matters – The Epidemic of Vaping

On Thursday, February 27th at 6pm in the AG Auditorium, the Myers Park High School Dream Team, a group of students who pledge to be drug, alcohol, tobacco and violence free their senior year, is hosting “Is it Worth The Buzz?”

This assembly will focus on the epidemic of vaping, especially with regard to middle school students. 8th graders will have the opportunity to hear this presentation earlier in the day while the evening event is geared toward parents. You will hear from a medical expert, Chelsea Cain, the Dream Team, and Luka Kinard, a current junior from High Point, NC, one of the first individuals to receive treatment from this addiction and a teenager who speaks throughout the country. This is an event you can’t afford to miss.
