It is now time for your rising 7th or 8th grader to choose their electives for next year. AG is using a virtual format. Your child’s counselor has provided a video and instructions on elective registration in Google Classroom. Your child must watch the video before they complete the elective registration process.

Myers Park High School’s Interact Club is Stampeding Hunger. AG Bulldogs – join the movement and help support the efforts of students at our feeder high school. Every $1 donated is the equivalent of 7 pounds of food that can be distributed into the community.
Now through Sunday, March 22, AG Middle School is collecting monetary donations to help our Bulldog families who may need some extra support during this unprecedented time. Mr. Folk has set a goal of collecting $2,000 so we can provide $20 Food Lion gift cards to 100 AG families in need.
On March 16, in their second emergency meeting about COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education voted to restore the district school calendar to its original form. Spring Break will be observed from April 13-17, 2020.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools website posted the following message on March 14, 2019… As COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases increase across the state, Governor Roy Cooper has ordered all K-12 schools to close for two weeks, effective Monday, March 16, 2020. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will be closed for students for at least two weeks beginning Monday, March 16. This includes the CMS before- and after-school program.
Myers Park High School Cheer Coaches are doing a Coach’s Clinic this June for girls 12-18. It’s a prep clinic for high school cheerleaders and middle school girls to prepare for try-outs at the end of summer.
