Anxiety, social media, alcohol/drugs, OH MY! There are a lot of obstacles on the middle school road. Please join Mr. Folk and your AG PTO for the first Middle School Matters presentation on Tuesday, November 19 with Jonathan Hetterly, a therapist specializing in teens at Southeast Psych. To accommodate our parents, the presentation will be held from 9-10 am and 6-7 pm in the Multipurpose Room, and we encourage all parents to attend.

Please join us on Saturday, November 9th for a Campus Wide Clean Up from 9:00am-12:00pm. Bring your trash bags, pruning shears, garden gloves and anything else you think might help “spruce up” our AG Middle school grounds.

Box Tops is changing to fit today’s families. There is a new and improved Box Tops mobile app that uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school’s earnings online. Please download the app and start saving for AG today!

Applications for Bulldogs Matter afterschool program are now available. If your student could use a structured environment afterschool to complete homework, build relationships with teacher-mentors, and participate in enrichment opportunities (clubs and field trips) have them ask their advisory teacher or stop by the front office to pick up an application!!

If you have a child going to middle school next year, please attend the AG Open House on Wednesday, November 6 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the AG Multi-Purpose Room to learn more about AG and the opportunities our school offers students.

You don’t want to miss the MPHS Choral Fall Concert! The AG 7th and 8th grade advanced choruses will be singing with the MPHS Choirs, October 17th, at 7pm in the MPHS Auditorium. Come out to the free concert and support the MPHS and AG Choirs.

Student pictures will be taken on October 8th. All students will be photographed regardless if you are purchasing. We will need volunteers to help with picture day. You will receive a picture package (free) if you volunteer.

Bulldog Prayers started back on Thursday, September 26. Bulldog Prayers is the interfaith group at AGMS created by students to provide faith, support and encouragement to any and all AG students. Bulldog Prayers Club meets each Thursday morning from 7:45-8:15 in the AG gym for prayer and a positive message.

Let Me Run is a nonprofit wellness program that inspires boys to be themselves, be active, and belong. Registration at Alexander Graham Middle School is now open for grades 6-8! Fall 2019 season starts on October 3 and meets Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:30 to 4:45, and ends with a 5k race on November 23.
